Silent Night
To the tune of the classic Christmas song, the ESox hit every note. Edina managed only 5 hits en route to the 5-0 defeat against Victoria. ESox starting pitcher Stu Martin had an uneven performance but did keep them in much of the game. As is was the case with Edina's last game against Bloomington, errors and free passes created too many opportunities for the opposition. 3 errors, 5 walks, and 1 hit by pitch extended a few innings for Victoria's offense.
Edina will battle the Minneapolis Lakers in second round action.
