Edina kicked off their Riverview season with a 4-2 victory over NWS in New Hope. Starting pitcher Mark Schroeder tossed 5 great innings allowing no earned runs and striking out 8. Edina didn't have a hit until the 4th inning when first baseman Reggie Dunlop singled home Edina's first run on a hit to left. Dunlop drove in another RBI in the 6th when he doubled down the left field line scoring Erik Nelson. Edina added a few insurance runs to ensure the 4-2 win.
